Everything but simple

Challenges in the modern production

In highly automated production environments, the demands on test fixtures are increasing: they must be flexible, robust and precise - even with high throughput and frequent product changes.

  • High number of variants: Adapters must react flexibly to changing component geometries and contacting requirements - without long set-up times.
  • Short cycle times and high process reliability: Every second counts in automated lines. Adapters must position precisely, make secure contact and reliably withstand high cycles.
  • Integration into automated lines: The mechanical design must be suitable for handling by robots or transfer systems - including centering, position retention and wear resistance.
  • Mechanical robustness in continuous operation: Millions of insertions, clamps or hold-downs require wear-resistant materials and low-maintenance designs.
  • Combination with manuel rework stations: Adapters should not only be automated, but also ergonomically operable - e.g. for manual test stations in final inspection or rework.

Your project with wemonte

From the requirement to the integrable test fixture

Whether for automatic feeding, robotic handling or manual test stations: We develop adapter solutions that are precisely tailored to your production process - structured, plannable and transparent. This is how we work together with you:

1. Requirements gathering & quotation preparation:

We analyze all relevant parameters with you: Installation space, contacting principle, interfaces to automation, cycle time specifications and mechanical requirements. On this basis, you receive a binding offer tailored to your application.

2. Technical design & construction:

We develop your adapter solution in close cooperation with your automation partners. The goal: a robust, low-maintenance and easy-to-install design that can be seamlessly integrated into your line or station.

3. Production & assembly preparation:

After approval, we start with the procurement and planning of the final assembly. We usually deliver adapters from the Basic series within 6 weeks. For complex systems with special mechanics or special connections, we plan individually.

4. Quality assurance & documentation:

Each adapter is tested at our site in Stuttgart before delivery. You receive complete technical documentation - including CAD drawings, operating instructions and connection diagrams.

5. Support beyond the project:

We remain your point of contact even after commissioning - for maintenance, spare parts or adaptations in the event of changes to your product or process. Everything from a single source - with a direct line to design, production and support.

Frequently asked questions

FAQs

Our adapter solutions are mechanically and electrically designed so that they can be easily integrated into existing lines - e.g. via defined interfaces for feeding systems, robotic handling or manual test stations.

Yes. Our adapters can be equipped with defined holders, position elements or gripping points that enable automated assembly - for example by gantry robots or cobots.

We rely on modular and ergonomically optimized designs. This means that our systems can be converted in just a few simple steps - ideal for a wide range of variants and short product life cycles.

Our adapters are designed for continuous industrial use - with wear-resistant materials and a robust structure. Depending on the application, several hundred thousand mating cycles are possible.

Development and quality assurance take place at our site in Stuttgart. We work with regional partners for assembly - this ensures short distances, flexibility and high quality.

We generally deliver adapters from the Basic range within 6 weeks of design approval. Complex systems with special mechanics or automation interfaces require approx. 8-14 weeks - depending on the scope of the project and are planned individually.

Yes. Many customers use our adapters in automated lines as well as in manual reworking stations or semi-automated individual stations - integration is correspondingly flexible.
