Where are you likely to find such people? At colleges and universities in the Länd!
That's why we made our way to Esslingen University of Applied Sciences early in the morning on April 16 to talk to interested students at this year's Career Week and find out more about their goals and interests.
You can't say that everything went according to plan that day:
First, we got unexpected reinforcements from Jakob's son, who was unable to go to kindergarten at short notice and therefore spontaneously accompanied us to the university.
At this point, a big thank you to HS Esslingen, especially to the head of MakerspacES, where the youngsters were allowed to spend the morning with Lego while wemonte braved the adverse weather outside.
Instead of the hoped-for rays of sunshine, it was cold and stormy April weather and Laura, Daniel and Jakob had their hands full making our little stand weatherproof. Fortunately, we had a few lashing straps in the car with which we could tie down our stand.
This meant that nothing stood in the way of our appearance and we were able to enjoy a lively crowd and many interesting conversations over a “Career Beer”.
